Area residents attended Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce's Cruising on Roosevelt event June 16 at Baker Hill shopping center. The free event featured a number of activities, including a community car show, a Touch-a-Truck event featuring Glen Ellyn public works and public safety vehicles and a dunk tank with staff from districts 41 and 89 that will benefit Supplies 4 Success, a nonprofit organization that raises money to provide basic schoolsupplies and winter outerwear to needy students in the two districts.
