Family and friends of Jason Cassidy hosted a benefit at the Westin Hotel in Lombard on Monday, Oct. 29. Cassidy, 25, of Villa Park, was badly burned during a house fire in July, but his life was saved by three Lombard firefighters. The firemen, along with Lombard village officials, were present during the benefit, held to help off-set the cost of expensive medical bills.
