Uwe Gsedl, of West Chicago, is a photographer and graphic artists, who recently received the 2012 West Chicago People's Choice Award for his street art banner, "Summer Joy." Gsedl, who specializes in portrait photography, has been legally blind for roughly a year, after a medical complication damaged his optic nerve.
