On Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, Edward Karasek takes a tour through the park at Windsor and Kenilworth Avenues, named in his honor at Octoberfest. While he was instrumental in creating the park, the naming was a surprise. As a Berwyn Park District commissioner, he was told that all commissioners needed to attend the dedication. A Berwyn resident for 56 years, Karasek has been a commissioner for 46 years.
